Big Balls (joints)

Hi all,I've been trying to change the lower ball joints on my merc. sprinter 1999 and it is beeing a complete *****. I finally got the o/side to let go of the upright got hold of the mandrells to push it out poped it into my 12tonne press and NOTHING apart from bending the 25mm pin on the press:zx11: after loads of penetrating fluid heat and hammering it has not moved at all.And just to make me feel even more usless i can't get the neasrside to split from the upright at all even after lots of heat, fluid and big hammer shock treatment.
Has anyone any tips for shifting these I'm really runnig out of ideas :1zhelp:
