Had my car for a couple of weeks now and have been playing with the dynamic options. The steering and suspension are fairly obvious in what they do, but the throttle response has got me thinking.

I find that in comfort or auto (comfort) mode the car can feel quite lethargic and get bogged down especially at lower revs. When in dynamic, then the performance comes alive, it seems to just take off.

So, when in dynamic have I actually ogt more power/bhp? Or is it simply a case of the throttle becoming more sensitive?

Just curious how a "standard" set-up relates to a dynamic equipped car for anyone who has had or tried both.

ALSO,,, if i were to remap the car, do we think this would cause any issues with the dynamic side of things? Apart from trying to keep my licence :D

Throttle response sharpens up. You don't get more power but effectively you get more instant power. It can means it's not so smooth when going around town etc as any small movement of the throttle is picked up. My old S4 was terrible for it's overly sensitive throttle and even in dynamic mode the B8 is no where near it .... but then nor is the torque I now have.

You noticed dynamic more in an automatic car as it holds onto the gears longer. In a manual it just sharpens up the throttle.
