Hi I have an a6 c4 2.8 Quattro and was wondering what type of code scanner I need and where is the plug? I cant seem to locate it. Any help would be fantastic

Get full VCDS which will cost around £250.

Thanks for the info. Could you tell me where to find the plug point for the code reader.
Thanks

Hi thanks for the info I still cant seem to find it. I know there is a data link under the hood but this is only for a 4 pin type plug. Is that probably the only one and I may have to get a special code reader to suit?
Cheers

Ahh its one of those. The 2x2 plug, one black and the other white in the under bonnet fuse box. You need a 2x2 adapter for a 16 pin OBDII lead.
