mp3 cd changer question

hey guys, i sourced 6 cd changer from breakers taken from 2009 a6.
i have currently on my 56 a6 6cd changer which dont play mp3 discs.
as i am aware, car 2007+ has mp3 playback compatibility.
will it be just swap job on my car, or does need still programing 2009 changer to my car?

You will need to release componant protection for the new cd changer and this is a dealer job ONLY

Nope he is not specialist Audi breaker, but main cars are german BMW, Audi and Merc.
At the moment he has full Sline leather for avant for under £500, i wish it would fit to saloon.
