Rear Wiper Problem

Hi all, I have a 2006 Passat Estate 2.0tdi 140, and having trouble with the rear wiper, when I switch it on it will stick and when it wipes it wipes the opposite way (downwards) across the VW badge??????
Any info would be appreciated on what is wrong with it...Thanks

Rear badge wiper. This a new feature?

Sounds like it has been put on upside down. Has the rear assembly been replaced recently?

My guess...You turned the wiper on when the blade was frozen to the glass. If you are lucky the arm has moved on the spindle. If you are unlucky the motor gearing is ruined.

Hi, thanks guys, no i figured out the problem, the motor is fine (luckily) its the wiper arm where it is attatched to the motor, well its developed a crack, at the part where its attatched to the motor and came loose!! so just need new complete wiper arm, any ideas where I can get a new one ive looked on ebay but to no evail!!

Way as well get a second hand arm and a new blade. Would do the same job!
