Hi all, ive got abit bit of a head ache so i will explain whats happened and what ive done so here goes
it is a ford galaxy 1.9 pd auy engine iirc, the car started to lose power and sounded like a tractor, anyway after checking the normal things i checked the injector wiring (it had been replaced about 3 months ago) when the rocker cover was off i noticed that no1 cam lob was very badly worn and came to the thought it had a choc camshaft, so got and fitted a new cam, new lifters and new bolts it started fine and sounded spot on, but when its driven it goes into a limp mode no boost, now when it was in bits i did notice no1 injector stood higher than the rest, without the injector rockers bolted down no1 stood about 10mm higher as in the spring and pushrod, could it be this? anyway the owner has driven it and has said it was hard to start, had no boost but when he switched off and back on again it went well, i was thinking of adjust the injectors, never done this so any advice is welcome ;) also what about no1injector being higher than the rest what could be causing that?
