Keyfob Battery

OK, I know that this should be stupidly easy, but can anyone tell me how to get at the battery inside the keyfob to see which one I need, and to replace it?

Mine has just decided not to work (thankfully I noticed that the car didn't lock as I walked away from it), so I deduce that I need to get a new battery. Looking at the keyfob, it looks as though a suitable lever applied to the wee hole at the end should pop it open, but trying it with a blunt butter knife it is reluctant and I don't want to break it.

Any suggestions?
