fault code help??

[sps]

the car is a 1996 vw golf mark3 1.4 with an aex engine code.

i read the codes using vag.com

and it came up with :

00525- O2 Sensor - Voltage Low

00625-vehicle speed sensor.

could someone tell me what these are?

Check wires on O2 (lamda) sensor, try swapping it, if you can, with one that you know works before you shell out the £60+ for a new one.

Can't see a 00625. :dunno:

can i ask why you were checking it anyway was the car playing up
