New 2e motor knocking

Hi all, Bought a overhauled 2e motor from some guy, got it installed, But after starting the car up the motor make a continuous knocking noise and shakes alot and will switch off after taking your foot off the throttle... What is the problem here? did any one else ever experience this?

The guy I bought the motor from says I must check the touque settings as the motor might be too tight.

Please advise
