Door mocroswitch

Can anyone tell me which colour wire in the door is the one that tells my car the doors open, it works then it doesn't, removed door card panel and it's intermittent.broken wire or bad earth but there is around 12/14 so?

I spent a while looking at the wiring diagram and I can't find a definitive answer.

I am going to assume that the the signal is sent to the CCM for the benefit of the anti theft system and the CCM tells the dash insert that the door is open. If that is the case then it should be a brown and white wire as this is shown in the wiring diagram as connecting the door contact switch to the anti-theft system.

Although I am not 100%.

Thanks iwaters, i've solved it but you were right it was a brown. I followed back from the lower red light in bottom of the door and it merged into 2 other browns crimped and taped at factory, one was broken!
So thanks to you and for the purpose of anyone else with the same or similar problem, PM and i could help as i know the ins and outs now ;)
