Hi and welcome.

You tried AdrianFlux?
Or Chrisknott on this forum? I have heard Chrisknott are very good. We are with AdrianFlux and they are very reasonable.

Also, I'm assuming you've done some comparisons on compare the market etc?

Oh dear. Bad times. May I ask your age? Possibly a bit of a silly error buying a pretty fast car without getting at least quoted on it first? But I wont give you a pep talk lol...

Try HIC, or dare I say it, Admiral? (had a bad experience with them myself, but they are cheap).

how old are you? i presume its an age thing rather than a points or previous thing.

How long have you had your license, any no claims? I am assuming you are 20 from your username.

If you are a new driver you are going to struggle I suspect :(

If every little helps, try registering with one of the cashback sites.

I went through www.topcashback.co.uk then linked through to Swinton last year and got £60 cashback from each. You'll have to wait about 90 days to get it but 120 bucks isn't to be sniffed at and the quote for my Bora was just over £200 in the first place.

There are plenty of other insurers available through the site and a quick look right now shows plenty offering £50 or more, but you'll still have to do the legwork yourself.

I like Swinton as they have a local office here so there's no wondering if you've got it all right on the internet proposal form.

**Other cashback sites are available and I have no affiliation to TopCashBack.co.uk or Swinton**

Try FluxDirect - spin-off of Adrian flux. Dont know why they wouldnt insure you - im 20 running with 3 years NCB and my a4 130 sport was £590 With Adrian Flux.

Edit - Try telling them the car is modified- sometimes modified policies can be much cheaper than standards. Without mods my policy would have been just shy of a grand!

There's many factors apart from age... it could be just due to your postcode if its high risk.

If all the major sites are quoting mega money, your only option will be to get that excess upto £500 plus a 300 under 25 driver excess....to try and get it down..... or maybe time to re-sell if the figures dont work out...

Just dont do any Insurance fronting.
