2000, Seat Ibiza 1.6 Starting Problem

Had car from new, full service history etc.

Recently the car has developed a starting problem :1zhelp:.

The engine turns over, but fails to fire-up, during this time all the dash displays and lamps go out. This may happen 1 to 10 times/attempts to start, then it starts ok with all correct dash displays. The car never cuts out when running. The fault can appear any time during a cold or hot start.

Any ideas :confused: ???

hi m8 have you checked the battery connections some times thy can come lose.

I have the exact same problem with my car just recently developed and its got worse cant rely on it starting....

how did you get it sortd
