Hi All. I've recently purchased an Audi A3 1.6SE 2004 and am experiencing an occasional loss of power, usually under load. For example if I change down to 2nd to take a corner the car doesn't want to accelerate and sticks on 2000rpm. If I dip the clutch & rev it is okay. I've had it plugged in at a local garage and whilst no engine management light was showing there was a fault showing with crankshaft position sensor. I've changed this and it's no different - apart from me being £40 worse off! I've tried unplugging the MAF sensor and it makes no difference either. Running out of ideas now! I'd be grateful for some help please.
