If you remap or have a DPF delete...

Hi Guys,
If you were to have a remap/DPF delete done on one of these cars, would you have to tell your dealer not to touch the ECU? Im aware that sometimes on services they update firmware and scan for fault codes..would this cause any issues?

I would always recommend the ecu to be updated if recommended by the dealer however you would need to go back to the tuner who would modify the dealer update back to its remapped settings. For my customers I would not charge for this but every tuner varies so you would be best to check with them first.
