Hi all,
I've had my '97 A3 1.8 Auto (AGN engine) for about 9 months and average about 25mpg which I have never considered good. Is this normal for this car?
It is not driven hard and has recently passed the MOT, so emmissions must be OK. Bills from a previous owner show that the MAF was replaced 2 years ago, and if I unplug the sensor it makes no difference to the performance of the car. The only other slight problem is that it sometimes takes its' time changing up to top gear, keeping the revs high until I get to about 40mph.
If anyone has any feedback or comments I would be pleased to hear them.
