Hi all I am in a situation where I have to travel a 120 mile round trip to work every day so I need a new car I have been looking into either getting a BMW £320d Tourer or a A4 Avant estate I have a budget of about £2.5k-£3k max.
See below add I am going to view this car in the morning can you guys give me some info on this car such as the full spec.

What you mean, on the advert it says Xenon Headlights ?
It might have xenon bulbs, but it does not have factory fitted xenons.
Also it has a concert radio.
The Ad says a "trade sale" does this mean =" no warrenty"
I wouls be a bit wary of that.

In all fairness it doesn't seem too bad, for the price, but the
real beauty (and devil) is in the engineering, and a 10 minute
drive will tell you more, about the car, than any amount of
words can. As well as all the other do's and dont's about buying
a car, factor in, how it feels.
Hope it works out for ya.
Regards
Jim

Ok guys I went to view the car earlier, it has a couple of dents and scratches and the paintwork is a bit dul, but we took it for a test drive and it drives so smooth so we left a deposit and we are picking it up Monday, I was wondering if you guys could advise on the best place to get the bodywork sorted and also is it worth getting the wheels refurbed or buying some different second hand wheels can you also advise of any over cheap mods I can do to improve the car ?

smalldents and dings can be sorted by your local SMART repairer.
Wash, clay and machine the paint to bring the shine back, detailing world is a good forum to start on.
A good service would be an idea for peace of mind..
Mods.....what would you like to do ???

Not sure on mods just the simple cheap DIY mods such as pressed metal plates, cruise control, interior LED lights, etc
Also the front window wipers look verry untidy the paint as faded is the a guide on changing the window wiper arms to the Aero wipers and where to buy the parts from ?

"HazzyDays" fitted my cruise control type them in on google good guys.
i would look into some 18" Sline Alloys to make the car that bit sporty.
