VW - 3 years service for £250!

I saw the advert last night, and it got me thinking 'is it really worth it'? They said they will service any car for that amount.

1) What type of service do they include?

2) How much was it before?

Well when I got my car new in 2008, it included a 3 year service plan for £200. The usual 3 year plan, first oil change 15k or so, inspection 30k, then the other one 40k ish. can't remember the proper names for the services but I do remember that they are the standard ones that VW offer. Will be trading in this time next year anyway so might not get my final service.

Currently if you buy a new Passat and have VW finance you get 0% Finance, No fees and the three year Service package.

Includes 3 services at 10k/1year, 20k/2years and 30k/3years.

Years 1 and 3 are normal services (Year 3 is brake fluid as well) and year 2 is the bigger inspection service. Doesn't include any wear and tear items such as brakes.

All 3 services at my local dealer are over £500 so well worth the money at £250 for new VW's and certainly worth having for free.

The £299 plan is for vehicles over 3 years old and includes two minor services and one major service and all your MOT's
