Plug in diagnostics for 20v 7a

Can anyone pls tell me where u plug in the diagnostics fir the 20v 7a engine? I have heard it's located in the drivers footwell but I haven't a clue what I'm looking for or what it looks like. If it's not there is there anyoter way of doing a diagnostics on it?

Hi

could be 2 x 2pin plugs on an early car or 3 x 2pin plugs if a later car, usually black brown and the third probably blue(if it has one).

3 plug system same as this 20v turbo link:

Unlike the 10v the 7A does store its fault codes after turning off the ignition
