High Mileage A3 Tdi 2.0 1.9

Hi All,
Could you advise me to what sort of mileage your cars are at (+60,000 miles) and what condition the car is at common problems, reliability etc
Also would you recommend 1.9 or 2.0 tdi?

Any comments are appreciated, hope you can help me.

what mileage is the cam belt recommended to be changed at, any ideas?

I've not long got a a3 TDI 170 sportsback 07,rang the local dealer and they said 75000 miles .My old tdi (old type a3 52 reg)was 60000 miles.

I thought the general consensus was 4 years or 60k, whichever came first.

Audi dealer in Salisbury , I rang ask about the cost off the next service thinking it would need a cam belt.They said no not until 75000 ,the car has 55000 on now .Is this not correct ???

Hiya,

A3 140bhp TDI PD engine

75,000 miles... seems well enough - just replaced battery. Turbo whistles a little but has since i had the car at 68k.... clutch & gearbox feel A1
