Faulty tail light 07 A6 30 tdi

After you start the car the warning light comes on for left tail light
then left indicator then left reversing light and now the brake
light was gone out in sympathy, changed all the bulbs and checked
all the conections everything seems ok, has anyone come across the
problem. The bleeps are hard to listen to. cheers

Could it be condensation in the light cluster?

Mine is full of it and the indicator stopped working for an hour or so and then came back again. Service coming up so I am going to ask for a new one under warranty.

Dont think so, it does not seem to bad, i got the right hand tail light replaced under warranty at the start of the year, it still gets condensation. I might
get the car plugged in tomorrow see what that shows up

Got car plugged in, it came up with a break or bad connection took out
light and cleaned connections on the bulb holder with some sand paper
then squeezed the connections on the plug and sprayed with break cleaner
put all back together and happy :Blush: days problem solved

Good you got it sorted, was gonna suggest try cleaning the connectors but you done it before I wrote this!

Had similar problem on my 54 plate. It appears the wiring had corroded. Since it was replaced no problem.

Sand Paper, Gheeees that took the plating off then. A peice of A4 printer paper is rough enough particularly as it is usually the base of the bulb (solder) that is the problem. Regards Peter

do all car has only a year warranty for the replacement of parts? BTW, my car tail light the left and right are doing great. that thing will help us to avoid accident right?
