Hi all
Im in the process of selling my Astra GSI Turbo and im considering buying an Audi S3 when its gone.
Ive not had a VAG car before (7 Pugs last being an awesome 306 GTI-6 and the Astra GSI which i find a handles like a shopping trolley)
I have a max budget of 5K (ideally less as the point of selling the Astra was to save money and i was originally planning going back to a GTI-6 :lol)
Whats the things to look out for on these? As most the ones in my price range are older with over 100K on them. Obviously service history is a must with turbo cars.
Whats the cambelt interval (big job?) and what are the service intervals?
Is there much of a difference between the facelifted ones (by that i mean do you notice the extra 15bhp) as im swaying towards an earlier one as they are cheaper to buy, tax and insure.
Any info would be much appreciated
