hi i scaned this earlyer after it stalled then restarted after 30 seconds

now it wont start at all

check relays under electrics box near battery
injector relay located there and they did go faulty

they called the rac out this morning and the chap said its theloom inside the head i know this is a common fault but didnt think about relays

will check both of these out tomorrow

havnt had that fault come up on injector loom in head?

ok ive had a look yesterday but cant find the relays none by the battery looked at the loom and cant tell if thats ok or not so going to fit the new loom now ive got the right one

If it has got siemens injectors, an injector has failed. Pull the connectors off, one at a time until it starts. That way you find the dud injector. A failed siemens injector always throws this code.

it is indeed a failed inector

so now to find a nice cheap new injector :aargh4:

you'd be better off selling it and buying a vauxhall ;)

but seriously, TPS were helpful when I was on the hunt for injectors and seals for the Golf, I can't remember the name of the place they put me in touch with unfortunately, but it might be worth giving them a ring.

The injectors are VW only. Even if you buy elsewhere it will have come from VW. They are £500 exchange. If you try TPS you may get a discount from them.

got the new injector today from tps £500 for a genuine part

well its fitted now and all up and running ok thats the inportant thing

good job the warrent company are paying for most of it
