Misfire,Spluttering 1.8

Hi

My 1.8 1997 a3 has just started playing up

When i first start it its fine,but then after about 30 sec of driving it seems to misfire,splutter when i try to put my foot down,then after that it will be fine but a bit under powered

any advice

Sounds like a coil pack or ignition amplifier problem.

It is not really possible to test it if. What I would do on a customers car with this problem is recommend new plugs, leads and coil pack.

Make sure you buy top quality leads and coil pack plus NGK plugs work best in that engine.
