I finally collected the car yesterday after what seemed like an eternity since I placed my order.
Lows - How small do your feet need to be with such a small (narrow) footwell, I'm size 11 and find myself catching the adjacent pedals all the time.
Highs - Everything else, fantastic to drive, 19" and -30mm feels very comfortable compared to my last car. Was also given the asset protection insurance as a freebie which apparently should have cost around £300
Loving the new Audi experience :D

Very nice, the color, wheels and S'-Line combination really compliment each other well.

No, that was taken outside my house!!
Can't get my own hands on my new Phantom Black S-Line until Tuesday. Was even willing to do a 280 mile trip to collect from the dealer on Friday afternoon. In queue for PDI Monday, so not too many sleepless nights left now.
Nice car, glad you like it. Have a B7 Sline and hope the rides not as harsh?.

Thanks everyone for your comments.
I'm sure you'll understand I've not spent a lot of time in the house since Wednesday so haven't been online too much to reply.
I need to get the mileage up so I can start driving it a properly, that and the fact that I just want to drive, anywhere!! :D
I have to confess that it isn't my house in the background, it's my gatekeepers lodge, my crib is a lot bigger ;)
To all those still patiently waiting, it's worth every minue of every day. As soon as I arrived at the dealer and saw my car sitting at the front door I forgot about all the frustration of the pervious 116 days.
Off for a wee spin in my new car now......

Ken,
Was the light pack worth the extra cash?

Ken,
Was the light pack worth the extra cash?
How Audi can justify some of these options I will never know. Shame that I cannot lock the glovebox or see inside it well when it's dark....

The light pack should not be an option (comes standard here though), but it is definately a must have.

What exactly does it include?
Can it be retrofitted?

Ken,

I'm afraid all I can say so far is that it looks good inside in the dark but as I've only driven it in the city at night I'm sure I haven't seen it to it's full effect because of the street lighting.
I have also used my Vagcom cable to enable ambiance lighting so the footwell lights stay on after the doors close and the intensity can be set via the MMI.
To be honest I can't say if it was worth it as an extra as I haven't seen one without it at night to compare but it is cool with all the controls lit up, door handles and the footwell and door/puddle lights.

What baffles me is why all the Vagcom Mod options aren't included, things like the dipping mirror on reverse etc are simple digital switches in the cars software so would cost them nothing to have these enabled.

^^
There's a VAGCOM thread that has a link to downloadable docs. I've tried to open it but I can't.
How do you use the software? Would like to try some of these mods.
