Anyone know of a good VW specialist in W Yorkshire

Fed up of getting ripped off by dealer clowns, and then having to go round the houses to prove they haven't done the job right. I don't mind spending money so long as the job is done right. The latest one is a clutch fitted that now judders - they say they'll look at it, but if it turns out not to be the clutch they want to charge me for opening it up to look.

I've tried 3 VW dealers nearby, and all 3 have been rubbish.

There must be some place around West Yorkshire that people have used that they recommend.

I know of two VAG specialists that are in that area, I have heard that both have a good reputations.

Peter Ellam in Huddersfield, and Volkswork in Leeds.

They are not 'specialists' in any make, but I use Central Garage in Todmorden. In June I bought a new Audi A4 and when I get it serviced it will go to them.

I had a Mk III Golf for 10 years and Central always looked after it. They even found (in 20 mins) a problem with the brakes after the main dealer in Plymouth couldn't find after 2 hours! I also used them for my company cars and they never let me down.
