Error Code- Potentiometer for EGR?? Implausible signal
When I ran the dionostis Vag-com programme- ,an engine error code ... P1444 came up - potentiometer for EGR - Implausible signal.

any ideas how i can address this myself?

Check the connections to the egr.

Run some output tests to the egr with vagcom.

View the egr measuring block, should be on a % scale.

Have to say though, sounds like it is knackered.
