Hello all, looking for info on the exact ground to fender measurement for the European B8 S4's. I own a new S4 here in US and have been told that European S4 models sit about 10mm lower than S4's sold in US. If someone could measure the height at the front and rear wheels on a level surface, I'd really appreciate it.
Hmm, I can try to remember but as far as I know they are identical. The S4 has a 20mm (0.8") drop over the basic A4, which is identical to the ride height of the S-line models unless someone has opted for the 30mm (1.2") S-line drop.
Or to put it another way, it's not as slammed as people think/want it to be :)
You could also check out the audi.co.uk website and see what the overall height of the S4 is given as, compared to what Audi usa say.
Actually, I just did.....
and according to Audi USA, the S4 is 1427mm high whereas according to audi europe, the S4 is 1406mm high. I can't believe there's a 20mm difference - that looks to me like the Audi USA site have the normal A4 dimensions on their page. Audi Canada also says 1406mm. I think it's all 1406mm and the USA site is wrong :)

I've checked out numerous sites and can't get any accurate info, so I sigured that it would be best to ask someone in Europe to meausre the distance from the ground to bottom of fender on their S4. Hopefully someone will come through.
I had a spare couple of minutes :)
Right, measured from the ground to the top of the front splitter (the aluminium-coloured piece at the lower front of the front bumper/fender) at the centreline of the car, I make it approximately 21 cm which is about 8.25".

Yes, sorry, was a bit tied up. It seems like the height is approximately the same for US models. If I had a more precise measurement from ground to the edge of fender, I'd be able to determine more accurately.
