On the last day of my holiday in Newquay someone decided to show me the reasons why I bought my VW Golf GT TDI 150. And as you can see it stood up to the job very well.

I can tell you that all occupants walked away with only severe bruising (from the seatbelts) and the annoying back and neck aches.

If ever there was a good advert for there safety then this is it, the Firemen on the scene had said that if I was still in my Peugeot 306 then I wouldn't be here or I probably wouldn't still have my legs.

ive seen quite a few accident pics with VAG cars being involved. i must say, they bear testiment to VAG's build quality and i feel safe sat in my golf with that knowledge.

you had a lucky escape there mate, make sure you keep a tab on the neck aches though. as above as well, what exactly happend?

We were waiting to pull into a Texaco garage when a speeding Nissan Almera hit two large puddles of water and hit straight into us.

All of the airbags went off, I couldn't believe the amount of smoke they produce, It was so dence I couldn't see my wife who was in the passenger seat.

Needless to say that the car has since been written off and I have just taken delivery of its replacement, a VW Golf GT TDI 150. Well it saved me once before what more of a reason does a man need!!!

Thanks for your kind comments.
