recently purchased a secondhand 1.6 fsi that has 17 inch alloys fitted , my question is . are there any plus points in having larger diameter wheels or should I start looking for the standard 15 inch .:o

Some people say you get better handling. bigger wheels usually mean wider tyres as well, and the tyre wall is smaller so you get less tyre movement when cornering. Most people have bigger wheels though because they look better

does it mean i get more mpg , I agree the appearance is better:p

No, fuel usage should not be affected.
