Hi Everyone,
Luck has not seemed to be in my vocabulary during my short time of owning a beautiful Audi A4 2.0T Quatro S-line (special edition).
Once again I am having to ask for some advice/help regarding parts. The other day I was cleaning my car when i noticed on the drivers door the trim (its part of the door itself and is a piece of plastic that runs the length of the door) had somehow come away (the end near the bonnet as opposed to the end closest to the rear passenger door) and because I hadn't noticed it and had continued to open and close the door it has bent. *sigh*. So... I have rang audi to ask how much a replacement would be and was informed it would be in the region of £180 for the strip.. which came as a bit of a shock to me...
Since then I have been ringing round to see if I could find a cheaper alternative (places like europarts) and today was told that because its a 2007 model that I would have to go to the dealer and fork out the £180, and that had it been an earlier model that I would be able to pick 1 up no probs, however a lets say 2006 2.0 s-line door trim would not fit.
Firstly does this sound right? and secondly how do these things fit on as It doesnt seem to be a clip.. or am I wrong.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
