how to adjust seat belt warning sounder???

is there a way of adjusting when my seat belt warning sounder comes on???
i have a mk5 golf tdi and when i get in the car i turn the ignition on, then put my belt on, the sounder comes on as soon as i turn the key,

when i get in my old dear's vw eos it only comes on once driving the car

i DON'T want to get rid of the warning all together, i'd just like to set it so it comes on once the car is being driven!?
