Was driving on the clockwise section of the M25 (nr staines) today and just out of the blue I was approaching a stunning audi R8 spyder!!! I haven't seen this car in the flesh yet so decided to admire it. I noticed the reg had 'PRESS OFFICE' on the black holder part of the reg and the start OY10. As far as im aware the audi press cars are 'OY','year' then the rest of the index. I decided to pencil the reg down as I saw last nights top gear. Got home, went onto bbc iplayer and there it was!! The same car featured on top gear!! I know the show isn't live (my mate was really lucky to go to episode 2 of this season 15.) Possibly returning from Guildford? (top gear is filmed nr there)
Anyway question would be, I read audi driver magazine and the press office cars are all OY registered cars. Which is the index for Oxford. However Audi UK is in Milton Keynes which is 'K' on the reg index. Does anyone actually know where the audi press office is located? Either way this R8 spyder is stunning in the flesh and the driver wasn't flooring/showing off, just cruising at 60 which made this car somehow more attractive. lol :biglaugh:
