I need a constant live feed to my Kenwood cd player as each time the kek comes out all the memory is lost. Is it possible to get an adaptor so i don't have to cut the wiring and if so where can i get one? If not which is the best way to do it?
Thanks Gareth.:1zhelp:

I just had the same problem with my kenwood in my golf mk3, if you join the yellow and red wires together on the adaptor cables supplied with the stereo using a scotch lock clip it will give you a permanent live feed.
Ps remember to either take the front of the stereo off or turn the stereo off when getting out of the car as you could end up with a flat battery

Thanks Vince, managed to connect the wires as you said, but just by pushing the spade connectors out of the block on the radio unit and swapping their positions. It must be slightly different wiring on a mk4, as the radio will not work without the key in the ignition, but still provides power to retain the memory presets. Thanks Gareth.
