remote central locking upgrade

Can anyone recommend a remote upgrade for an existing central locking system? I don't know if any own modules are still available. Cheers!

I am glad you said it is a Mk3 as I was about to say no you can’t do it easily on a Mk2 as there is no actuator in the drivers door. There used to be plug in systems to do this that you fitted into the harness on the passenger’s side or at the pump in the boot but now you need something like the Falcon Phaser 2. The problem with this unit is that its longest pulse output is only listed as being 4 seconds and that is not long enough to initiate full total closure of the windows.

Ah I see, cheers crasher, don't suppose you know what the pulse output is?

Wondering if I can knock something up to increase the pulse length

Edit: looks like it should do the trick, I think I'll wire it to the pump at the back. Seems like the easiest solution, not that fussed about remote Windows eitherway!
