Is My Temp Sensor Faulty

My Audi a3 1.9 TDI 130 temperature gauge seems to be playing up when i get in the car without putting the key in the ignition the temp gauge will go To about 70c without the keys in the ignition and if open and close the driver’s side door it will sometimes go back down and when driving the temp gauge seems to sit around 100c

i had the same trouble on my car,turned put to be dash insert (new clocks)
think it cost about 250 if i can remeber rightly!

Got a VAG-COM scan done today found two faults
1 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor (G62)
2 Fuel Temp Sensor (G81)

i am going to replace the sensors and see what happens
