Glow plugs for my golf GT TDI mark v

Can anyone please tell me where the glow plugs are on my Golf GT TDI mark v, has been diagnosed with the the first plug is knackered.

But for the life of me I cannot locate them. Also assume will have to buy a special connector for my ratchet to remove it ??

they are in front of you as you look into the engine bay, with black caps that pull off, with wires connected to them. you need a sacket, 10mm iirc, or 12mm, a deep socket is best.

It depends on witch TDI you have if it is a 2.0 litre the glow plug are under the rocker cover or if its a 1.9 they are as explained by zoolaf.

I have a 2.0, whats the rocker cover, if it big plastic thing covering the engine, have removed it but still cant find them

They are buried down on the ends of the harness plugs, follow the single wires.
