Hi all,
I have a problem with ( i think) the maf on my 2002 A6 1.9 tdi (130) AWX
The turbo started to not come on as usual ( around 1800 revs ), and when it did it come on, it was higher up the rev range, from 2500 revs onwards. I had it scanned and there were no fault codes. so after reviewing the posts here, it seemed like the MAF was the culprit.
I have replaced the MAF with the pierburg unit. I can now hear the turbo coming on and the power has improved but it still comes in late at just over 2000 revs.
So after all that, my question is do i need to reset something for the MAF to operate correctly, or is it just plug it in and everything should work straight away? or does it take time for the ecu to learn the new MAF?
thanks to everyone for all the posts on this site, I've fixed so many issues thanks to this forum.
