Insurance group 21!!

Ive just rang 3 insurance companys trying to get a quote on my 1.6 SE and they have all told me its in group 21!!! i cant get cover for less than 2 grand, and ive been driving 10 years. no accidents, but no no claims cos i had a vandalism claim last year.

Is anyone else having problems getting covered??

or is it just me?

Yes it is in Group 21 now. The old groups (1-20) are being phased out for new groups (1-50). You're car under the old group system is 10.
