View Full Version : Water into the trunk at drive-in washing?

I thought I would ask this here rather than in forum with less exactly similar cars.
I usually wash and wax the car by hand but occasionally take it into a brushless drive-in washing. What I've noticed is that everytime there's water in the trunk after the wash. It goes in there through the gasket at the bottom of rear window when the water is sprayed to the rear window.
Has anyone else encountered the same problem?

The gasket is in good condition so basically there's no way to fix the problem.

I take my car through a high pressure wash bay regularly and have never had any issues with water entering the boot.

Thanks for the info. I guess I should try another washing line somewhere else to compare. This machine I've been using sprays the water just in the angle that it goes in between the rear window and boot lid.
