Hi all.
2001MY Avant 2.5d
All of a sudden the N/S/F window has developed a squeak when powering down.
Is it serious?
Is it a cheap and easy fix?
Could it be due to the v/hot weather we are experiencing?
(Car is parked in sun all day with no shade available)
TIA.
Regards.

Mine too. :zx11:
It seeems related to the warm weather. I'd be interested in a fix because it sounds dreadful.

If it's the glass squeaking against the rubber, a spray of silicone lubricant down the runners should sort it out.
But why are you winding down the windows in this heat? Isn't that what climate control is for?

Yes, but I need to roll the window up/down to get a ticket or push it into a slot to enter and exit a car park every day. :biglaugh:
Anyway, thanks for the tip.
