GTTDI 150 central locking issue

Hi, My gttdi150 will not unlock using the keyfob , but will lock fine. My first thought was that it cannot be the battery in the fob(logic tells me why does it lock fine?)
I have had the key fob tested for signal, and sure enough when you press the unlock button there is no signal. But when you press the lock button the signal shows good. I only have the one key and I have seen many repair kits on e-bay for £10.00 approx. They consist of a battery and new buttons. Has anybody fitted one of these repair kits ? Do I have to reprogram / syncronize after fittment ? Bearing in mind that I have only one key! Please can somebody help ?:1zhelp:

Chances are it could have been your comfort efu that has packed in instead. My brother had that problem in his Toledo, but his never worked as he bought it like that. Can't say for sure tho
