2.0 TDI (170) Remap?

Has anyone with a 2.0 TDI (170) had a remap done yet? Im thinking of getting mine done in the next month or so, but have been reading all sorts of problems with the DPF on these limiting the potential.

Remap with DPF in place anywhere from 195 - 210 bhp
DPF Removed and remapped 220 - 235bhp

Second question... Has anyone had the DPF removed and the regeneration programed out? im sure this would seriously invalidate whats left of the warranty though, so may be just the ECU Remap first...?

I have a touran 170 with a remap. Had it remapped twice and have been disappointed with both. I have problems with my DPF at the moment and i am interested in whether the DPF could be removed and programmed out.
