Just fishing for ideas....
When i accelerate from standstill, get a clonk from under car somewhere at front. Mainly noticible under harder acceleration.
Wondered if anyone else had this?
Wether its worn Bush/CV/Droplink/Engine mount?

Hi
wishbone bush seems likely. I have seen an issue with a cracked engine mounting point causing a similar symptom, prob less likely!

Do you know I had been trying to find that avatar for ages!! In the end I right clicked and copied it from another avatar!! It's great isn't it!
Car in for MOT morrow so will see if they find and diagnose for free (well cost of MOT anyway!)
Thanks for quick responses will post with fix hopefully!!

if they dont find anything, then suspect the subframe bushes, as these often dont show up until the frame is dropped.

Thanks zollaf, will see what they find if anything? Its a definate clonk when pulling away from standstill, but not when moving...Does seem to be left hand side more than right.....
Failing that will change subframe bushes, was gonna change the whole lot at some point anyway to tighten up the handling....In Three mind's wether to go the:- solid bush route OR Polyurethane OR Std!!!

i fitted solid subframe mounts and poly wishbone bushes, and that tightened up the handling no end. it did make it slightly harsher, but i like it.
