My 09 Reg A4 2L TDi has got to go into my local dealer for some warranty work, Caffyns.

However, since March this year they have started charging customers for the loan of a car even for warranty work.

This is really not on! Can they do this and is there no comeback to Audi?

Surely customers should not be charged for anything under warranty work to their car.

Is this something that all dealers are doing and can they do it?

Is it worth complaining to Audi directly?

Hi,

Oh dear

Shirley they cannot do that.

I would say no.

Agreed

Mine certainly does not and are always very accomodating, even asking if there is anything I would like to try.

Deffo and very loud

Trust I have answered your questions

Use a different dealer

Bought my A4 from a useless dealer who sold the car with issues that should have been dealt with. The loan car they supplied even had a gearbox fault

Went to my local dealer and they have sorted everything out, with an A6 courtesy car free of charge

Change dealers, tell them why and you will most likely find that they will be more than happy to show you the good side of owning an Audi
