the cruise works fine on my car but i have a question or to here goes,
when i switch mine on (i leave it on all the time) if im using it or not i always have the green lamp on the dash, i thought it should only light up when you set the speed, does anyone know if its right or not?

Yes - the Green Light should always be on when the cruise control is on. It only goes off if you switch it off using the rocker type switch on the indicator stalk.

Mine only lights up when you set the speed. The rocker on top is always switched on.
Maybe its an age thing? Mine is a 2007 (57)

Ive driven a 57 plate that worked the same as yours that's what made ask, it could be am age thing , but the rocker switch on mine is a little bit sticky and thought that could be a part of it, I think I will leave it alone while it works lol
Hi,
if my cruise control switch is in the "ON" position, the green lamp only illuminates when i set the speed, and mine is a 58 plate.

The varying replies have had me rushing to my handbook!
Mine says (an 05 plate) that when you switch the rocker switch to "on" the green light comes on. You then set the speed.
Essentially the green light shows that the system is on regardless of whether the speed has been set.
I wonder if they changed it with the later models.
