Rear Disk Bearing Washers

Can Anyone Help My Son has A Mk2 Golf GTi 1.8 1991 Smashed up the rear Wheel hub Disk Bearings etc got all the replacements apart from New Wheel Bearing Thrust Washers where can we buy these will any good quality washer do as long as its same size or do we need to buy original parts a quick answer is required if you can please
