Hi All

I have a friend who owns a 1999 'V' Audi A3 1.8T with 112k on the clock. It has started to develop a problem where it cuts out intermittently, mainly on the approach to junctions where you slow down and engage 1st. It has been on the diagnostics by a VAG technician, had the throttle bodies cleaned, numerous sensors replaced, a full service and last weekend the injectors were cleaned and filters replaced (injectors now operating at 97%) but the problem is still occuring.....

Can anyone shed any light ? My friend has spent £500 so far and its no better....

Many Thanks

Had it looked at and it was a split in the airpipe/breathepipe or somethimg alike....that was 2weeks ago.

Its happened again though so took it back to the garage today and hopefully have some news 2mw.

Check that the airpipes are all ok, im not too clued up on it just passing on info the mechanic gave me
