:1zhelp:Hi i have a 2005 golf 1.9tdi sport golf, the flywheel started to rattle last august,so i fitted a complete sachs clutch kit incl dual mass flywheel.10mnths down the line i have got a vibration in the pedal rattling noise from the n/s/f again.i take it that the dual mass is on its way out again.i have heard you can now get a solid flywheel for the mk 5's.is this true?and has anyone had the pleasure of having one in there car?and is there any difference in the car now that its a solid flywheel?or shud i put another d.m.f back in again?my cousin put a solid flywheel in his bora an he said it went like a 3 cyclinder massey ferguson..lol.any suggestions? cheers J.B.:beerchug:

ive heard of this on transporters but not mk5's, if a solid one is avl it would be good to hear what there like, as for your DMF they have a 12 month warrenty and as you replaced the whole lot you should be covered

i dont no if the solid kit is available for the mk5's i no there avail for the 105 bhp caddy vans.so i take it they can be fitted in the golf.although i was driving down the road this after noon heard i loud bang a violent vibration came into the car.i stoped opened the bonnet and the n/s gearbox mounting must of broke engine lying on er side.so maybe that has been the rattling noise 4 a while now.:zx11:not a happy child today!
