    I've been getting the codes below so bought a heater temp flap motor (V68) and a fan resistor pack as speeds 1 & 2 were not working but the V68 seems to be either in the full hot or cold position and doesn't regulate in between.
    Do i need to perform basic settings or adaptation in VCDS or am i looking at a new heater switch/dial?

    Thanks

    @VAGMAN54:

    I found this thread (one of rare about this V68 error). I don't have Audi but I still hope that you could help me.

    I'm getting this V68 error on my VW Polo 2003y and symptoms are: when temperature is set to minimum or maximum everything is OK but when not car heats cabine some period of time normally and then it starts heating maximally. Sometimes it's not hapenning, sometimes it happends after 5 seconds. Shortly, it's periodical error.

    Somewhere I found that there can be two kind of V68 errors:
    - 01271 actuator for temperature flap -V68
    - 00600 potentiometers -G92 in the actuator -V68 (for temperature flap)

    I don't know which one is mine but I can find out.

    What do you think?

    Thanks in advance
