    Default Audi Concert Stereo – 29-09-2008,11:13 PM
    Hi

    I have the above standard stero in my Audi. It has a 6 disc changer in the boot. Could any one tell me how many and what type of speakers the car has? I have been told that there is a sub in the car some where??

    Which A4 ? how old ? does it have Bose anywhere on the speaker grilles ?

    Its an a3 quattro, I cant see Bose written any where!?!?!?!

    The front door speakers are running off the head unit internal amp, the rear speakers are amplified. There is an active subwoofer in the boot and the amplifier is integral with the subwoofer, i think ! Bose sound system is different, all front and rear speakers are uprated Bose speakers, apart from the tweeters, they are fully amplified and the head unit outputs a flat signal to the Bose amplifier/sound processor. The head unit has to be programmed for Bose sound and is the same unit in both systems.
